Lallemand Baking & BEMA Gives Back 2024

The BEMA Convention 2024 took place at the end of June in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The convention focused on the future of baking, exploring the themes of people, processes, and products. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, participate in insightful sessions, and engage in unique networking events.

During the convention, Lallemand Baking collaborated with BEMA to support Harbor Interfaith Services, a local non-profit organization in San Pedro, CA. Their mission is to assist the homeless by providing shelter, transitional housing, food, job placement, advocacy, childcare, education, and life-skills training. As part of the philanthropic element of the convention, guests assembled 500 hygiene kits and 200 entertainment packs for children, making a meaningful impact in the community.
